 Patti Cassidy is a playwright, filmmaker, fiction writer, and, most recently, producer of both live and  taped readings of plays in the greater Boston area. 

She's an arts adventurer and open increasingly to experiments that bring theatre and other arts together and to the general public.

Currently, she's co-producing a series of play readings called The Playwrights Reading Room. In it, new plays are presented for free at Boston area libraries, including Watertown Free Public Library.

Her most recently produced plays were "What Will Happen to Daisy?"  in Los Angeles, CA, "Enter, Daisy Buchanan" in New Brunswick, NS,"Critic's Choice" in Bloomington, IL,  and "The Dickens Effect" in Chicago, IL.

She's also been taping interviews with other New England playwrights for the New England New Play Alliance  which you can see on the "Other Playwrights" under the Video Series here.

And in her spare time, she's a board member of the Playwrights Platform in Boston, and a member of Write On.
